The Institute of Actuaries in Belgium (or IA|BE in short) is the professional organisation for the actuarial profession in Belgium. Its main role is to protect the professional interest of the actuaries and the actuarial profession in general in Belgium.
IA|BE has 1100 members, each of them having an actuarial degree.
Members can keep their professional skills up to date via different training initiatives. The IA|BE trainings are also available for non-members, so if you are interested, please consult here our training offer.
IA|BE was created in 1895, so it celebrates its 125 years in 2020. More info on www.iabe.be.
IA|BE is also a member of the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) and the International Actuarial Association (IAA) which respectively bring together sister organisations from Europe and from around the globe.
